Halloween Monday

Hello,
I wanted to post a quick note regarding Monday's Halloween festivities. Spooktacular (Halloween Games in the gym) is usually in the afternoon, so to avoid costumes becoming damaged, I find it best to bring your costume to school in a bag and then the kids can change into it at school. Please do not bring masks or costume weapons to school.

Friday is Games Day!

Hello,
As some of you may have heard. We are goal setting each week for kindness and great behaviour. Each Thursday we will vote for a special in class reward. Tomorrow, Friday the 21st, we are having a Games day. Each student is welcome to bring a board game. I asked them to please not bring any tablets or phones as it is a risk it could get broken, or lost.

PJ and Teddy Day

We are happy to say tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 14) is PJ and Teddy day! The students all met their classroom rewards goal and they voted to have a PJ and Teddy as a special treat. No note was sent home as it was earned at the end of the day.

Applesauce

Today the kids were really excited to peel apples and add to the slow cooker to make apple sauce. We will get to eat it tomorrow! They were especially astonished by the special crank peeler we used!
