Frozen Bubbles Science Experiment

Image result for frozen bubbles photography

Please ask your child about their science experiment with bubbles. It was tricky due to the wind, but very amazing when they were able to see the crystals forming in the bubble, or the bubble itself froze!

Our Grade 2 Calm Cave

A quiet relaxing place in the grade two hallway. A place you can go whenever you need a break or need to get back into the green zone (Zones of Regulation) so you are ready to learn. We can colour, watch the fish, use play dough and some other sensory items. We can also practise belly breathing, stretches, and mindfulness.  It is a pretty special spot!

January Snow People

All the grade two's made these beautiful shaving cream and glue snowpeople. I wanted to show you a  few pictures as they are very fragile and sometimes don't make it home as safely as we wish. We are also working on solid, liquids, and gases in Science. Is our shaving cream snow people a solid, liquid or a gas?
We are also writing snow people stories.
