Wordwork

We have started our word work this week, which is basically working with words, and examining how they work. Currently we are working on consonant blends with 'r'. For example: tr, br, cr, pr, gr, and fr.

Reading Homework

Hello Families,
Guided Reading has begun! As a result your child may have a book tonight. As I start reading with each group, I will be sending books home for them to read with you. Please return them each morning to school in their homework bag.

Welcome back!

Hello 

Grade 2 Friends and Families!

My name is Mrs. Boswall and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to do so many fun things and of course learn a lot. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to hear about it. We have had a great first day of school and I can’t wait to meet your family on the Meet the Teacher Night. 

Reminders:

I have provided school supplies for everyone but if you haven’t paid please do so as soon as possible.

Please provide indoor and outdoor shoes (one pair stays at school).

It can be handy, to keep a change of clothes, socks, in your backpack.
